Frankfurt am Main in Germany is the venue for the World Banknote Summit 2018.

Located in the centre of Europe, Frankfurt can easily be reached from all over the world by air, by rail or by road. Frankfurt Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, and Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is an international hub for Europe's high-speed rail system.

As a leading financial capital, Frankfurt is known for its impressive skyline. But the city is also renowned as venue for conferences and exhibitions. It is home to the Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung, the world’s largest motor show, the Frankfurter Buchmesse, the world’s largest bookfair, and Musikmesse, the world’s largest music fair.

Frankfurt is also the birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the famous German writer. For delegates interested in literature, the Goethe House and Museum are definitely worth a visit. The Frankfurt Opera offers classical music at its best, and a bustling nightlife with leading clubs caters for the party crowd.
